Request for data and account deletion

1. How Users Can Request Account Deletion

Users can request to delete their Elo Plus account and associated data through the following methods:

  • In-App Request: Navigate to Settings > Account > Delete My Account, confirm the request, and enter the required verification details.
  • Email Request: Send an email to support@eloplus.com with the subject Account Deletion Request, including your registered email and username.
  • Customer Support Portal: Submit a request via the Elo Plus website’s support page.

2. What Happens After Requesting Deletion?

  • Your account will be deactivated immediately and scheduled for permanent deletion within 30 days.
  • Personal data such as chats, profile info, and preferences will be erased permanently, except for legally required records (e.g., fraud prevention).
  • If you change your mind within the 30-day window, you can log in to cancel the deletion.

3. Important Notes

  • Data shared with other users (e.g., messages sent to other users) may still be visible to recipients.
  • Some data may be retained anonymously for statistical purposes (non-identifiable).
  • If your account was banned due to policy violations, you may not be eligible for deletion until pending investigations are resolved.
